RANDOM ROGUE

a game of poor decisions

A lofi roguelike where every world simulates 250 years of history before you arrive — then makes fun of you for dying in it.

The world doesn't wait for you

Before your first step, the recipe runs: geography, factions, wars, artifacts, named beasts, plagues, and the occasional thing that falls screaming from the sky. Cities burn and become the dungeons you'll loot. Then you're born into the wreckage with six stats, a rusty sword, and no expectations.

Every card is a choice

2–4 options, visible dice rolls, outcomes that are tragic, funny, or ironically good. Usually all three, eventually.

Every rumor is real

Tavern gossip, weathered books, and treasure maps quote the world's actual chronicle. 15% of rumors are embellished. Good luck.

Every item is tied to something

A buckler stamped with the name of a city that burned in year 141. A spyglass carved with a dead man's IOU. Blessing, curse, or just history — the game will never tell you which.

Every seed is a world

Same seed, same world, same history — on any machine. Find something ridiculous? Send a friend the number.

From an actual chronicle

Year 13 — The Restless Stormcrab ate Kakel Hulol. The beast reports no regrets.

Year 15 — Ulisk Solras 'relocated' Nevithras "Ashspire". It rests now at Corithost, officially by accident.

Year 17 — Belash Iskcor founded The Children of Rot. Membership includes robes.

Year 12 — Ulnev Omquil published '1001 Uses for a Dead Mireworm'. Critics called it 'a book.'

Year 192 — The Chain Collective declared war on House Jorras over a duel that got out of hand.

— seed 424242. Nothing above was written by a human.
